Probably the cheapest sushi roll ever in Melbourne.
I like the cosy warm environment and the lady is always so welcoming.
I recommend my friends to try their sushi.
If you’re walking down Centre Road in Bentleigh and want a fast, cheap option, this is an ideal spot. The sushi hand rolls are by far the cheapest in Melbourne at $1.50-1.80, although soy sauce costs extra. The diameter of the rolls are slightly smaller, but the quality is average and the selection is decent.
Have been coming here for years – a family favourite! Best Japanese food in Melbourne by far – food and hosts are the best and keep me coming back.
Fantastic food at a very high quality for such a small local restaurant. Must try, especially if you’re a local and support . The service is very good and friendly. Grilled calamari is highly recommended and in my 9 year old nephews words ‘I’m in heaven’.

I have been coming here for years and years. I can only offer my opinion on the sushi rolls which are awesome! They are so cheap and have always tasted fresh and to perfection and I have tried all of them! Why pay more when you have the same quality for less!! Good on them for keeping the prices low over the years although they are so popular!!
Japanese food at a very reasonable price. If you are hungry I would get there at 6pm for dinner to avoid waiting an hour for food. Service is slow because i think it is husband and wife team. Husband cooks and is Sashimi chef and she does everything else.
Stand out dishes are: Agadashi Tofu, grilled mackarel, salted butter fish, tataki beef, sukiyaki beef, seafood stew and sashimi.
Excellent restaurant, has the freshest sashimi and everything is truly authentic Japanese, which is hard to find for a decent price now.
I would recommend the Osuimono soup, beef tataki, grilled beancurd, grilled mackeral and of course the sushi and sashimi platters.
Parking is easy with current road works, just around the corner behind the shops on both sides of centre road.
