For an everyday eatery, not too bad, better than Douzo (Bentleigh) of Tataki (Elesternwick), but certainly not comparable to the excellent food served by Tsukiji (Prahran), which is a real gem at affordable prices. At Ajisai the seafood is ok, the vegetables are semi-fresh and the sauces with which Horenso and Nasu Dengaku are served are overbearing. The ambient is obsoloete and definitely needs renovating.
