A small and cozy cafe that can probably fit at most 15 people. My partner and I were lucky enough to grab the last table as we arrived at midday.
The menu is nothing too fancy, you can expect the dishes to be modest and unfussy looking, but the food was comforting and delicious. We ordered the chicken avocado gourmet roll and the tangy pesto chicken open grill. Service was lacking a little here. Considering the number of customers, I expected the food to come out a lot more quicker than it did. The chicken roll with avo, tomato, bacon and rocket was delightful. The toasted seed roll added a crunchy aspect, and the herb mayo spread throughout the roll was super tasty. We also ordered a side of whammer fries to go with the main, but despite its name, there was no wow factor to the fries, which was a little disappointing. They were your typical thin fries that you can purchase from Maccas, with added herb flavouring.
I thought the tangy pesto chicken open grill was enjoyable. Although nothing too special, I appreciated the simplicity of the dish, where each of the core ingredients including the seasoned chicken, sundried tomatoes, rocket and Parmesan cheese really stood out. In terms of quantity, I would have liked a bit more as the dish didnt fill me up as much as I would have liked.

Dropped in to grab a quick takeaway coffee before heading to the Bentleigh markets- tasty and creamy coffee that didnt need any sugars- which is always a good thing in my books.
Service with a smile and it seems the locals like this place too. A few people dining for brekky, which looked tasty and certainly started to make me feel hungry, but its a pretty small cafe with not much seating so was quite squished. Will have to spare some more time another day to try the food.
