I’ve never seen a cleaner Fish and Chips shop. Food:Burger – Thiswas allI would expect from a fish and chips burger. Fresh, and tasty.Chips = Average-goodCalamari rings = bad. From what I could tell,, they’re made of Surimi (ground fish).There wasn’t too much of a wait, but there were no others ahead of us (lunchtime on Saturday).Give this place a try if you’re in the area .
Having recently moved into the area, I have been on the search for a local fish and chip place that I can trust to make consistently delicious food. After trying at least 4 other places in the Glen Eira area, Bentleigh Seafoods has officially become my go-to place for fish and chips. The chips are perfectly crunchy and the fish has a crisp batter that doesn’t dry out the fish. The staff are welcoming and friendly each time, and the shop itself is clean and tidy. Highly recommend!
