Today, my friend and I craved something simple, and that’s what we found when we checked the menu here.
He opted for the chicken and mushroom pie, and I decided on the fresh tomato, avocado, and ricotta with herbs and lemon juice on toast.
Both meals were simple, yet delicious, filling, and satisfying. My choice also had a mustard on top of the veggies, which wasn’t listed on the menu, but was a strong mustard – which is what I like.
The milkshakes were an absolute killer. He got the chocolate, and I got the caramel. Both were strongly flavored – but not too strong – and were simply fantastic. Next time I go, I’ll have to try something from their cake selection – I was keen too today, but my meal was deceptively filling.
Absolutely love the breakfast here and the coffee too. We’ve tried a few things from the menu and everything so far has come out exquisite and made with love. First tried them for a whole black forest cake and it was yummy.
A sweet little place of Italian style, with nice variety of savoury and sweets.
It’s a humble place with warm and friendly service, with room for improvement on coffee.

Great homemade cheese cake. Delicious and fresh cakes. I love baked ricotta cheese cake and lemon tart. I recommend everyone to try this cafe.
Frozen cake. Unpalatable and Expensive.
I can only assume the good reviews were made when the old owners were still running the show. I’d bought many great cakes from there. This time however, quite the opposite.
I bought an over priced Continental cake (Layers of sponge and custard) for my husband’s birthday. When served to our guests, we found the middle was frozen and the sponge layers were dry and crumbly. Aside from being the worst cake I have ever had, we had to deal with our embarrassment of serving it to our friends.
This is such a lovely place. Service could not be more friendly, the owners can’t do enough for you and the cakes and pastries are amazing. I’ve had a few of the sandwiches as well, which were all fresh and yummy, but the best thing has to be the chocolate mousse tart! Very happy that this is just around the corner from my house.
Love it here. Warm, friendly with delectable cakes and pastries, good coffee and a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. One of the best in the area.
