Visited during the week for lunch for a colleagues birthday, and Im surprised that it wasnt as busy as Id expect. But that meant no waiting for us!
Service was fantastic, everyone was just so happy and helpful which made for a great experience. I had the duck poke bowl, and the others had the burgers and lamb tacos which they really enjoyed.
Decor and atmosphere here is great, perfect venue for a summer catch up especially in their outdoor seating area with the pooches! Cant wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Its impossible not to have a good time at Good times milk bar, especially when the cafe offers a menu thats fun as it is delicious. Yes, Im mainly referring to the dippy eggs here, as that was the only main dish that we had but we loved it so much that its safe to say we consumed every last bit of it! From the peeling of the egg shells to the presentation of the dish in the mini pastel coloured egg cartons, this contributed to the novelty aspect of the dish, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
For $17, you get 2 soft boiled eggs, avo cream, tasty relish, hemp seed dukka, and toasted sourdough strips. Our eggs were for the most part cooked just right, however one of my eggs was just slightly overcooked, nevertheless still delicious.
As a side, we couldnt resist getting the potato gems. These were definitely a win, golden, crunchy and came with some aioli and tomato sauce dip.

Cafe in a quiet neighbourhood. I have been eating out quite regularly recently and would like to have something light. I ordered the Duck Poke. The black rice is good but the duck is a bit tough. $22 is definitely a bit expensive.
Their new spring menu options are amazing and their plating is on point (as you can see in the pics)!
I ordered their hotcake, duck poke bowl and caesar salad. The hotcake was a nice sweet option and I loved how they added the house baked pavlova on top! The kale caesar salad was a nice healthy-ish option. My fave was definitely their duck poke bowl omg – everything was seasoned really well and went perfectly together – please order this!
Theyve got some fun cold drinks to try out like their watermelon, kaffir lime and mint spritz, and their coconut water with mint, lime and ginger.
Service was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back. 🙂
