The food was pathetic, and even the service was poor as well. They had a buffet on Mother’s Day 2019 eve and didn’t even bother to inform customers that there will be no other food. Just 4 items (starters, no mains) in buffet without any sweet dish and all the food was horrible. Even the ambience was poor. Will never suggest this restaurant to anyone, seriously we never had that much bad food anywhere in our life. The only good thing about the restaurant was the owner was friendly.

Haven’t eaten here, but had the coffee, which was fair. Service is a bit lax, and apparently no table service as I had to collect my coffee to have there – in a takeaway cup – from the counter. The process for taking food orders seems to be to loudly shout instructions to the kitchen area. I hope the meals are worth enduring all this. Decor and settings are pedestrian, and no ambience apart from the whining of the air conditioning system.
Lala’s Kitchen is a small restaurant hidden away quite nicely between a couple of large buildings, pretty much behind the gym on the corner of Nepean Highway and South Roads. We had been here once before, see here and even though it was over six months ago, the owner remembered us! A parking fee system has since been implemented since our last visit, costing $2 per hour up to a maximum $6.The restaurant itself is quite small, but spacious enough for quite a few diners. It was more a cafe size than a restaurant. The dishes all appeared quite small, but overall, it was quite substantial.
