Seven Starts has been a long time favourite of mine. The family who own and run this place are passionate about the quality of their food, and the relationships with their customers.
Entrees:
The Dim Sims and Spring Rolls are fantastic! If you’re a fan of a sweeter dim sim, I believe these are the best in town.
Soups:
The Short soup is very nice. The soup itself has a strong base (not too weak). The dumplings are delicious, and plentiful.
Mains:
The sizzling dishes are the best. Especially my most recent chicken, ginger and veggies.
Noodle and rice dishes are great also.
I dont particularly like the other stir fry’s – only because I find them a bit watery.
Service:
I found the service to be outstanding, and friendly. Without being a regular, they still know my preferences to dishes (especially entrees).
The dish still uncooked and cold! Really disappointed had dinner in this restaurant. The food and the service is really really bad. I will never go there again!
The staff were friendly enough and the we didn’t have to wait a ridiculous time for the food. The interior is nice & modern. The food is where I became disappointed especially after reading the reviews.. It wasn’t terrible just unmemorable.
Lovely food. Beautiful fresh food and great service. Possibly a little too much MSG.
But will definitely return.
Ten out of Ten for Seven Stars. Our family group of 6 dined at Seven Stars last night (2 from Sydney) and, as usual, it was great food and great service at a great price. Every item was delicious and fresh. The sticky date pudding was a work of art (see photo in photo section above), the banana fritters delicious and the fried ice-cream superb. A beautiful dinner that was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us.
We had dinner there the other night and loved the noodles. Char Quai Tiew was awesome!
