Tucker Road Coffee is located at the end of the local neighbourhood strip. The atmosphere is warm, rustic and family friendly, with children’s drawings lining the back wall.
The service was lovely and while the cafe was certainty inviting, the coffee was not what I expected – weak and watery with almost no flavour. I also ordered a little treat (chocolate variety) and the texture of the cake was a little dry.
I always feel bad when I can’t give a glowing review to somewhere local that is clealy doing a great job with customer service and presentation.
The baked goods and breakfast options looked good, so maybe it was just an off day.
Great little cafe, the coffee is excellent and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I love coming in for a chat with the guys behind the counter theyre great the really listen and create a comfortable enviroment with great banter. would recommend this to everyone. great to see the local childrens artwork on the wall.
I really want to like it!. This cafe is about 300 metres from my house and I have given it 4 tries to impress me. The coffee has gotten much better and I would recommend this place for a take away. I like the fact that my kids can draw and they LOVE seeing their picture on the wall. However…… One woman who works there has never been somebody to make me feel welcome. Whilst taking my order today she seemed to be staring into space. The muffins on display were burnt (why not just whip up another batch) and the beautiful croissant I ordered was burnt upon toasting. The last time I was in I waited far too long for a takeaway. I have been to places far busier that were quicker. I would much rather travel 400 metres the other way for not as good coffee but much more friendly and welcoming service.
Sorry guys, I want to support you, but with the lack of friendly/welcoming service I just can’t do it.
Some friendly new employees lately, however the store is still mired by the presence of Ella. Great coffee and sandwiches, yet service can be lacking with a certain employee.
A hot cuppa joe can be found at tucker road coffee merchants along with a tall glass of water in their coffee boy tom (yummy!!!).

Terrible place. Service is crap, coffee is bad and finally they wouldn’t even let my 5 year old use the toilet! DON’T COME HERE!!!!
Very unfriendly and not kid friendly. Took our coffee order down wrong then rolled her eyes when we corrected her.
