The first time I went to Bonfire was two weeks ago around 4pm the restaurant opened then. Waited 10 minutes inside only to have someone come and tell us the restaurant doesnt open for another hour despite the open sign and the sticker on the window saying 4pm
The second time we decided to give another try, and ordered butter chicken, cheese naan and biryani –
The biryani tasted just like saffron rice and had NO flavour.
The butter chickens sauce was hot in temperature but the chicken was cold and did not taste fresh..
We were told the cheese naan couldnt be cooked as their tandoori wasnt prepared and on, although it was past an hour of the restaurant opening.
Wont be coming here ever again.

If you are looking to relish Lahori Chhole similar to whats served at Springvale, then you might not get the same taste. Cant complain about the non veg food.
I have just used this restaurant for take away for the first time. I wasnt sure what to order .. so i went for the good old Butter chicken… deelishus!! Was not dissapointed at all. I ordered pakora also …but it wasnt the Pakora i have had in the past. ..A bit too spicy and NOT DEEP FRIED lol…But all in all…very lovely food! …would defo use it again !
We just hosted our wedding anniversary party of around 80/90 people at Bonfire Berwick and had the best experience ever. A lot of personal attention was paid to the quality and taste of food and as per our guests, it was one of the best Pakistani food experience they had experienced in a while. The owner and his staff were extremely accommodating to our requirements and tuned into what we wanted which allowed our event to be a success with lots of happy guests at the end of the day!! Highly recommend it to any one looking to host a party with Indian/Pakistani food!!
Compared to Springvale it’s not as good. Closer to my home though which is good and I got 10% off Menulog so the Pakistani in me was happy. If you eat in you get more bang for your buck. I always get the deluxe combo it will fill up a party of 3-4. The chicken tikka boti is always the best.
The biryani could be spicier and sometimes the seekh kebabs can be under cooked if you asked them to cook it well, it would be for the best
