Came here for Dinner and ordered the set menu at $34 ea. I am starting to learn that this is where restaurants make money. They look to cut down the dish sizes and what appears good value is not. The entree was chicken tikka and potato bonda, both average, not bad but far from great. The mains were chicken mahkani, ok, beef curry, sauce good but meat dry, paneer saag and Dahl mahkani, both bland lacked spices and dessert gulab jamun ok. Everything was average to be honest, there are better places out there for Indian and this place is very expensive for individual dishes so if you charge like that you better be damm good.

We dined at Deepam a few years ago and had a positive memory of that time so thought we would try again today. The restaurant was very quiet for Sunday lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was very good – we had the lamb rogan josh and chicken tikka masala. We were happy with every aspect of our dining experience.

We ordered onion bajji which was so hard to cut very dry might have been on shelf for more than a week and no onion in so called onion bajji and also paneer tikka and mushroom tikka were so bland lacked flavour.
Paneer butter masala, malai kofta were good , garlic naan, roti were ok but masala kulcha was like potato paratha

Dessert was very average kulfi f was very icy lacking nuts and flavour

When asked for onion they had given some strong onion which made everyone testy worst salad yak

When addressed / fed back to the owner he defended and said this foods are for Aussie,so we are not welcome so called Indian’s

The owner should change his attitude when he speaks. I would not return back to this place again

    We will definitely be back!

I don’t see how we have 6% unemployment, half of our population works here. Good tasting food and good service! A bit pricey but really worth it
