I called and asked for 4 souvlakis with everything and the kid asked what I meant? I said everything and he said (in a smart tone) like beetroot and pineapple… I cut him off and asked how often do people put pineapple and beetroot in a souvlaki? He said in an even smarter tone well, you did say everything…. Ill take my business elsewhere and write a review, thanks….
Have not been here for years , decided to give it a crack tonight. Best burgers !! We ordered the jumbo x 2 and a hamburger with the lot . And the usual potatoe cakes, scollop, crabstick , hot dog in batter , chips ect !!! Will definitely make this place my go to for my fish and chips from now on
Cassidy weve tried Fishtastic a few times now, and I have to say their chips are awesome. We had it again today I was thinking I didnt really feel like chips, but as soon as they were on my plate I had to finish them all. In regards to other items, the first time I got a piece of grilled fish from there I wasnt a huge fan. Their lamb souvlaki and the hamburger is ok and their onion rings are massive. And finally the only other thing Ive tried so far, which was a first time overall, was their pineapple fritters. Not too shabby, I wouldnt get them every time but with some cream or ice cream theyre nice. Overall I think they are a good neighbourhood fish & chips shop and really nice people.
Sneakers I find the chips here to be delicious. They are cooked really well, in fact, all the fried food is tasty and well cooked. Ive tried their battered sausages, chicken nuggets (which were delicious), the onion rings and the mini fish. Onion rings are delicious, and definitely good value. Ive also tried their lamb and chicken kebabs, with the chicken being my favourite. It has a generous amount of well-seasoned chicken, its quite nice. The service here is excellent.
