Tonight was the third time we have ordered from here and only did so being that it is close to home and convenient. Each time we have ordered here something has been missing. Each time we have followed up with the staff and given our feedback we have returned to collect the missing goods but with a lack of customer service on their end. After tonight’s phone call advising that again they had missed things from our order and to let them know the quality of their products were low – the young man on the phone, instead of acknowledging I was disappointed and trying to do what he should do and service me as the customer, decided to point out that nobody has complained before, as if I was lying. I found this a completely disrespectful and unprofessional way to handle my feedback and complaint and regardless of how close or convenient they are, we won’t be going back.
The food is absolutely horrible and I’m feeling very sick from it.
The battered fish was exactly that – all batter and oil but no fish.
The chips were soggy and potato cake very tough and crunchy.
Everything was saturated in salt.
The staff seemed lovely though. But please go easy on the batter!!
Food was not great, chips seemed old and soggy, potato cakes raw and rubbery, fish was unfortunately dry and scallops, crab sticks etc batter was light in colour again seemed undercooked. Tartare sauce wrapped in with the combo when could have been placed in bag separately so it doesn’t heat up.
Souvlaki meat kinda chewy it was average but losing to others within the area.
Service also wasnt the best kind of robotic. Won’t be returning.
Looked good. But mould on the desserts.
Do not recommend.

Nice lamb on the spit, souvlaki was delicious with good pita. I’d recommend it, for the price you can’t do much better for a take away place these days.
I really enjoy eating at Snappers and to be honest, i still think its the best fish and chips store in the area. The servings are so generous (compared to some of the stingy packs I’ve gotten at shops nearby) and the prices are pretty good for what you get. I like the batter they use for the fish as well and the crab sticks are a must. The souvlakis are delicious too… somehow the meat is always fresh and tender. I would definitely recommend.
Sneakers I decided to try a new fish and chips shop today for lunch, so I stopped in at Snappers. I was the only customer in the shop. I ordered a minimum chips, a battered sausage and a double cheeseburger. The chips were quite nice, very crispy, perhaps double cooked. The battered sausage was nice. The burger was pretty average especially for the price. It had two meat patties, two very thin slices of cheese, lettuce and tomato sauce. For $7 I expected a little more from a fish and chips shop; to be honest I couldnt really taste cheese at all. Sadly like a lot of fish and chips shops the burger drags down their overall score.
