Not a native of Berwick but we were here for the French Feast. It didnt disappoint. Started with the carrot soup as an appetizer. It was creamy and just the right size. Entree was the salmon rillettes which had the perfect creaminess. Main was beef bourgainon. Meat was tender, it was lovely with the smokiness of the bacon, sweetness of the carrots and onions, served with a creamy celeriac mash, Yum!Dessert was an apple tart chamomile anglaise and chantilly cream. We finished with a cheese board which was the perfect cleanser.
