I tried this fish and chip shop today as I go further afield to seek out the best fish and chips in the area. I ordered the flake pack for 1 which came with flakes, 2x dim sims, chips and a drink for $12. They had the packaging sorted with steam holes which meant that my meal was still crispy by the time I got home. So easy to do and yet do often not considered. The flake was the best Ive had in some time and the chips were also bloody good especially with the inclusion of chicken salt. I do like dim sim but in most lunch packs you get one of them and a potato cake so think I would have preferred that variety… I do like my potato cakes after all.
0.50c surcharge for using a card for transactions under $20 seems a little prehistoric… how about free free and free.
For the fresh and tasty flake alone this shop is easily the best fish and chips Ive had in recent times in the Box Hill, Blackburn & Surrey Hills area.
