I was out brunching this morning while KD remained at home but she did asked me to pick her up fresh bread for lunch. Middleborough bakery is on my list of go to places for just such an occasion. Fresh sliced square white bread. Quite specific I know but there ya go. They sell a range of other breads which are also good. The cakes and slices I’ve tried here hasn’t made me want to try again. I put into this category apple cakes, vanilla slices, and lamingtons. All have been below average and not worth the calorific intake. So square sliced white bread it is. Fresh or toasted with both butter & peanut butter (CRUNCHY) is a very special thing and we will often grab a loaf on a Saturday morning.
