Pleased to see some great changes have been taking place here with Miss P now functioning like a proper cafe rather than a small front for a catering business.
A larger space, a more expansive menu and opening on Sundays are all positive moves.
Food wise, theres some great choices and the ingredients tend to be good quality. They particularly excel with their relishes/sauces.
I find the staff friendly but at times I feel the cafe is understaffed so they seem to be running off their feet (and the wait for a coffee or some service can be a tad too long). Its no doubt hard to staff a cafe, but I think its best to err towards more staff than not enough.
The location is fantastic with a great east-north facing outdoor space. The decor is fresh and bright, with a touch of a French-country feel.
I really like the striped blue awning out the front along with the large windows and hanging basket pots. Just lovely!
3.7. Well set up cafe off the South Blackburn shopping centre. Its white, bright and airy inside with cute chairs and tables. It also has a very fetching east facing outdoor area as well, which was perfect on a sunny morning. The cakes, biscuits snd other goodies looked good here. They werent for me though. I was after a coffee. The coffee here is Columbian single origin. Its very good and my cup was made excellently today. It was a delicious little coffee. Service was terrific here too. Nice place. Recommended.
