Called past my tried and true source of carbohydrates to get some flash bread as we have guests staying the for the long grand final weekend. You cant go wrong with the high tin loaf which I generally always get them to slice for me. Perhaps the most authentic sourdough breads Ive had … certainly this side of Camberwell Their sausage rolls are good too. As far as dining in they have a number focaccia and hot foods and I have had their coffee before and it is tasty but have found it not quite hot enough for my tastes. Be prepared to queue on weekends but the benefit of being between jobs, like I am at the moment is you get to avoid the queues and come in on the middle of a weekday day.

$4.50 for a fruit mince pie might sound excessive, and is the most expensive I have paid for such an indulgence but I can honestly say its toppled my other two favourites off their lofty perch. If money is nothing treat your family to these Xmas goodies… otherwise stick to their baguettes and loaves as you cant go wrong with them either… reconfirming my previous review the queues are just as long as always.

I love the take away bread from this place so I was really excited to eat in. The cafe is really small & I love the design with all of the woodwork. The staff were polite but we overheard a comment about our order at the pass which we didnt appreciate. The thick shake wasnt as thick as we would have liked it, but my iced coffee was refreshing on the hot summers day. My meal was quite minty and fresh, with the eggs poached nicely. My partners meal was yummy but the salad on the side was a bit unnecessary. Overall, I would still come here to get bread but probably not dine in again
