We order pizzas from here a lot and have never been disappointed. The owner always uses great quality ingredients and am never disappointed. The pizzas are reasonable priced for what you order abd the owner has always been friendly with us. The restaurant has a very kitsch feel about it, with warm wooden colours and textures. It’s a family run restaurant and it tastes like home cooked food. Very pleased and will definitely be returning
Three Angels Pizza.
Both the pizza and pasta was some of the best ive ever had.
The service was i reckon the worst ever. The owner/cook was rude, went about things as if no one was there, had video music blaring out loud playing some sort of Turkish or Arabic music, we waited 12 minutes after asking for water, then it was 19 minutes before he took our order, meanwhile 2 tables that arrived after us were served 10mins before us.
The other tables kept asking to lower the volume which the lady turned down but each time he walked past it he would turn it up a little each time until it was blaring again. Then it would start over again.
Like i said the food was great but it was the selfishness of the owner that ruined the experience.
Absolutely love this pizzeria! Great value for money and as close to classic New York woodfire pizza as you can get. The bases aren’t too thick, but definitely not too thin either. All the ingredients were fresh and tasted delicious, especiallythe lamb sausage on the meat lovers! The owner says the sausage is made in-house, he also says it is low fat so that’s a bonus, but hard to believe because it tastes so good!
It was quite the experience meeting the owner and his family. Mo (the owner) is a real character and I was surprised to find out that not only is he an artist in the kitchen but also a fine craftsman; he designed, renovated and decorated the whole place himself. The atmosphere/decor is warm, inviting and quite unique; from the beautifultimberto the tile mosaics overhanging the mirrors on the walls. Most notable (besides the mouth-watering food) is the centrepiece wood fire oven, which has been made to look like Mt Vesuvius, perfectly placed for an Italian restaurant!
It’s BYO and they have a pool table as well, so it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg if you want to invite some friends and make a night of it, though I was told we should book in advance if we wished to do so.
You can’t go wrong here in my opinion. I can confidently recommend Three Angels to any and all connoisseurs of Italian cuisine. I’d also recommend it to couples seeking a romantic setting for a warm evening of pizza/pasta, beer/wine, maybe even a game of pool or two, all at a very reasonable price.
Love it! An eccentric and very warm place to have a bite. The pizzas were mental, and I believe that there will soon be a billiard/bar at the back. Bring it on – I’ll be back.
The pizza here is fantastic. Try the meat Ziti its beaitiful. Soo many average pizza places around blackburn and this is definitely worth a go.
Good pizza, service still learning. Pizza was pretty good, custumer service was polite, but could learn a lot more. We spent ages trying to get their attention to order more food, which was surprising considering how quiet it was.
I was sad to see negative reviews about our local pizza shop. We have never encountered rudeness and their pizzas are amazing. We also often get freebies thrown in like baklava and garlic bread. 3 Angels has been closed over Christmas and after trying most other pizza places in the area, I can honestly say this is the best. I encourage you to give this place a try. They also do BYO wine which is handy.
