Food is very nice but not spicy enough, would expect a bit more chopped chilli on the fish head. Highly recommend the special steamed chicken. Overall good experience but a little pricey.

I love this Restaurant!! So hard to find a Hunan Province Restaurant in Melbourne. Authentic flavours that will make you sweat! Must try their smoked ham with turnip. Lost for words… Very very happy right now.

Would definitely come back again for dinner. The only cons is the dish is pretty small comparing to the prices.

We were recommended by one of Hunanese girl that the restaurant can do real authentic Hunan food! We came around 7pm and found the last available table! Lucky us! The two spice fish head looks so yummy but unfortunately it was sold out. Instead we tried ‘creative’ 2 spice Murray cod which is even more nice! Other stir fried dishes were all nice and really hot. If you are not afraid of spice, please go and try!

first of all I am Chinese. It is true the owner spent a lot on renovations and obviously all the furnitures are imported from China. But, seriously? A dish of chicken is almost $70? a dish of preserved pork is $100? Also the services is poor that you must be very patient with them. I will never return as i am not a millionaire that can afford $70 chicken.. with other dishes

Taste wise is great! Very authentic ans flavorful. Amazing pork belly and beans. The only downside is the service and credit card facility around.

I’m Chinese, went for Spicy fish head, which is what they are famous for. They don’t have it for the night. Had spicy fish instead. First of all, extremely overpriced compared to any other Chinese restaurant. On that note, a regular dish head restaurant I always go is about $25 for the dish, this restaurant is on $68… Ordered the fish and veggie, waited 30mins no food. Asked the waiter, he said you only get the veggie once fish is done… he responded in the tone that’s is like ‘don’t you know that’… sign… will not come again for 1.service 2. Overpriced
