3.5 Star .. we googled this place looking for a serious dumplings.. and I have to say they delivered, the dumplings were very good, the rest was passable, satay chicken was ok and the lettuce cups werent to bad either .. if you looking for tastey dumplings this is a good spot in boxhill.
Quick and easy, no frills dining in Box Hill. Rock up, order dumplings (I’d recommend getting at least 3 or 4 types to share) and eat to your heart’s content. Simple Chinese dining at its best!

Exactly what you want out of a late night snack! Open til late, they have great vegan congee with lots of veggies inside. We had the garlic eggplant which was great as well. Service was good too! If youre hungry late at night would recommend.
I couldnt believe that my nephews from NSW had never had dumplings before so had to take them to my favourites dumpling spot in Box Hill when they recently visited.
I ordered them my go to dumpling the pan fried pork dumplings although Ive also eaten these steamed in the past. We tried a few other options too for the chicken eating pescatarian in the group.
All but for one of our nephews really enjoyed. Our fussy nephew ended up with some plain rice to eat. DC dumplings do a variety of other dishes and dumpling soups, congee and duck if you want to try other things but for me I find them perfect for that quick dumpling fix.
