Ordered a spicy noodle dish, a rice dish and a cold cucumber dish. The noodle dish was quite tasty as the noodles tasted fresh (but it was definitely false advertising for spicy…. very mild). Unfortunately the rice dish was terrible… the lamb tasted and looked old while the rice was very salty. The cucumber dish was ok but nothing to write home about. Overall a disappointing 43$ for the experience
I have been here several times, and I always order lamb skewers cuz they are really good. The spicy whole chicken is
just so so.
The fire rice they made yesterday was really bitter just like drinking the Chinese medicine
There dishes are not very authentic and instead of tomatoes as a base they use lots of soy sauce which is not normal in uygar cuisine. But their cold noodle is fantastic!
We ordered yangyu took kormisi(), the chicken is not fresh and tastes not good.
uyghur pastry() is not like the real Uyghur pastry which sold in China.
Lamb skewers are good.
The price is expensive and I think the chef can make the dish better if use the fresh and good quality food material.
But this time the experience make me disappointed.
Went there yesterday for lunch, the family of six…Nice place, not crowded, good ambiance – I would say the atmosphere is rather Central-Asian than Chinese. Ordered lamb skewers, fried eggplants, stuffed buns, lamb dumplings, some kind of fried cabbage and beef with potato. Service was very prompt, quality of food – good. Flavor – not bad but a bit monotonous . Prices are very reasonable. Overall – good but nothing exciting.
Our lunch here was very satisfying, ordered their bread, chicken wing, lamb skewer, cut noodles, mixed offal and chicken pieces with their handmade noodle, basically i love everything except for the mixed offal that i think the sauce was not rich enough, as its needed to give more flavour as offals are bland.
I especially loveee the chicken wing and chicken pieces with noodle, and would order that again on my next visit. just one word to describe this restaurant, YUMMY!!
Please save your soul and money from eating at this restaurant. The only good thing my friends and I enjoyed were the $2 yogurt drinks.. Firstly, when we called for a sizzling beef, the plate wasn’t even hot. There was more vegetables than the actual meat itself. The Turkish bread was stale and obviously store bought. In fact, most of the dishes seemed store bought and bland.
