The Hills has been around for ages and I use to always frequent there until they tried to pull a fast one on me. We ordered a crab and they tried to charge me an extra kilo, the receipts are hand written and usually in Chinese. When I questioned the crab they told me that it was definitely correct when I could clearly read the Chinese writing . Once they realised that I could actually read and speak Chinese and also after my whole family confronted the rude female manager, they tried to say that they accidentally charged the wrong table, yet we ordered 6-7 other dishes and you charged me all of them correctly ?! Apology was very rude, forced , will never return here

Ill give this place a 1.5 stars. Ive ordered takeaway from here twice and tbh, the only reason why is because its the only place that opens till late around Boxhill that sells roast duck and crispy roast pork.
The roast duck is pretty below average. The meat is quite dry and its pretty sickening. Theres not much meat on the bone. The crispy roast pork was quite dry and salty. The crackling was really hard and wasnt too enjoyable. They give you quite a lot for $15 dollars each which is good.
Overall, I dont think Ill order from here again. Theres many other places that do it a lot better.
Cantonese style restaurant in heart of Box Hill, Restaurant was quite full on a weekend night when We visited. Meals come with Complimentary soup. Roasted Pork was lean but quite dry. Duck was reasonablly cooked But not up to my standard. pickled vegies with pork slices were yummy and goes quite well with steam rice. Overall score quite standard.
