Japanese style restaurant serving ramen and rice dishes along with some Japanese tapas dishes. This place perfect for quick bite or drinking with mates. The spicy ramen is actually spicy so tread carefully there. The dry ramen is chewy and refreshing. They also have spicy pickled vegetables for free on each table.
Had the classic pork ramen and 10-pcs sashimi bowl. The ramen was quite good with nice soup and some slightly browned pork. Price was reasonable. A nice place to eat after some shopping at Box Hill Central.
Bought Groupon voucher for the Shabu Shabu for 2 ppl set. Very generous portion in size, soup were great favor. Fast and attentive service. However it only comes with 5 pieces of slice beef, but it was great quality, it was so delicious that we decide to order more beef.
This set is only available to purchase in Groupon, not available in their menu. And it seems they are not doing this any more, what a shame. Hope they will put this Shabu Shabu set in their menu.
Great experience at Ichi Ramen yesterday. Service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant, especially sitting near the window on a nice day. We ordered one serving of traditional ramen with pork & extra noodles, dry ramen with fried chicken & pork gyoza. The soup ramen was very flavoursome, with noodles that had a nice bite and pork that had an almost smokey flavour to it. The extra noodles on the side was a generous serving which allowed my parter to have a more filling meal. It was one of the better ramens Ive had in Melbourne for sure. The dry ramen had a sauce that had an almost creamy mouthfeel but had a soy-sauce based taste which I really liked. The gyoza was delicious, I really liked how they were more authentic by having the fried shell over all the gyoza. I also really liked the dipping sauce as it wasnt too gingery. The price for all three dishes was very reasonable.
The ramen at this place is great! Nice broth, nice noodles. The staff are inviting and the interior decor is nice. The pricing is quite decent. I ordered the fried calamari tentacles as an entree. It was super crispy but a bit too chewy for my liking.
The food is great but it is lacking a bit of authenticity when compared to other Japanese restaurants.
A sit down, busy diner serving wonderful ramen. Black Garlic Tonkotsu came with thin, firm noodles, an aromatic black garlic tare with smooth tonkotsu broth, nori, half egg, bamboo shoots, shallots, sprouts and fungus. A slice of grilled pork was tender with a caramelised flavour. Generous portions, well priced and polite staff. Very good.

Yummy!!! I have been looking for a good bento for a long time and was pleased with this one. Really big serve so happy about that, and nice sides like vegetable croquette, spring roll, miso soup and takoyaki! Was a bit confused with chicken karrage being chicken ribs as I am used to boneless but still good. Keen to try the ramen next
