Place is nice, in the shopping center. There are different kind of ramen for different needs, broth is quite nice however the ramen noodle is not high quality ones. Chewy but sticky, wasnt the best noodle however was not too bad as well, couldnt leave the food court standard zone.
We were craving some restaurant and since we live around Box Hill, we decided to try out this Japanese restaurant. Theres actually not many Japanese restaurants in Box Hill so its good to see this one around.
The menu is quite different from most Japanese restaurants. Theres a lot of variety that some other places dont have. We ordered the gyu tan fried rice. My partner was excited to see it on the menu. It was quite average, nothing amazing. It was packed with flavour however the seasoning wasnt the best. The texture was quite different to the ones Ive tried in the past.
We also ordered the unagi rice and grilled Saba. The unagi was nice and creamy and the Saba was quite standard. It was cooked well but Im not a fan of fried fish however my partner enjoyed it – however he said it was quite standard as well.
Overall, would defs come back to try out their ramens!
