**3.5 stars** Ive been here plenty of times over the past decade. If youre looking for delicious yet affordable Chinese food, this is the place to be. I love the fried pork dumplings as they never disappoint, the drunken chicken and the mixed vegetable soup. I prefer coming in when its a lot quieter though once this place is packed, the noise really travels and everyone ends up talking louder as a result. Staff are efficient, food comes out quickly. **NOTE: This restaurant only accepts cash.

Came into Luyang Dumplings for a sneaky dumpling lunch even though I have a house full of leftovers. Ive been past this place in the evenings and the place has been packed out but it was a totally different vibe today and was nice and quiet inside with only a couple of other diners.
Service was direct and to the point and as I was just after some dumplings to fill my tummy on this occasion so ordered a serve of steamed Shanghai Xiao Long Bao. it was cash only so lucky I had some dusty notes in my wallet.
They came out after about 10 or so minutes and were super tasty and full of soup liquid. I normally find at least a couple get caught on the bottom of the steamer but was luck today and managed to eat the lot without any liquid spills. I must be getting better at eating XLBs or these ones were made well.
A delicious easy no frills mid week option.
