Still my fave brekkie/lunch place in the east! Great coffee beautiful fit out easy parking but best of all the food is brilliant. And you can book! Love it.
Good coffees. Excellent location down a quiet apartment-lined street, near Box Hill Hospital. Easy enough to swing by for quick takeaway coffees and the occasional quick bite, due to having to visit the hospital often in recent weeks. Visited Second Wife so often I filled up one of their loyalty cards in less than 2 weeks. Yes they actually have a loyalty card, where the 10th coffee is free. Wish more cafes would have this system!
TUCKED AWAY IN BOX HILL – Food presentation on point. Add Bacon and Chorizo to complement the Eggs on Toast. Interesting sauce ! Good coffees.
Friendly staff. Natural interior with plants, hip joint.
What I love about this cafe is that its located in Box Hill which isnt too far from where we live. Its quite the hidden gem! When I first went into the cafe, I notice how nice the decor really is. Its very modern with black touches and white marble themes. I also really liked how the cutleries were gold as well. These really nice touches takes the ambiance to another level!
We ordered the Okonomiyaki with poached egg and smoked salmon and it was delicious! It had a breakfast/lunch touch to it. I liked how it had Bonito flakes and mayonnaise all over. The mayo was on point! We also ordered the smash in Japan which was very similar to another cafe weve tried with the mushroom skewers. Still good but.
My bf really enjoyed the coffee here as well.
Overall, food was really nice and I would defs be coming back for more.
The food is alright, 4 out of 5. Hopefully can have more options in the menu. The location is great, not as crowded as I expected. Even though the cafe is quite small but the atmosphere is amazing.
