We came here from some dessert and drinks. Upon entry, it wasnt clear how we were to order and seat ourselves. There was a menu on the side bench which we took and then we sat ourselves down at a table. After awhile, we went outside to the front and just ordered there. (This place accepts cash & card, but a surcharge applies for when you use card). The food and drinks came out not long after. Theres no table service, so you just get the tissues and water yourself (from the bench). The mango smoothie was just okay but I was happy with the hot chocolate. The plain waffle was also good, light and fluffy.
I love the cakes from here as they are supplied by le petite gateaux, the macarons here are also really well made ! Matcha latte is also really well made here, a must go ( to eat or just have a little look) when I stop by boxhill

Popped into Selene’s to grab a coffee on the way to the train. Seems in the lead up into Christmas my coffee intake has gone through the roof. They have a huge range of cakes, muffins, waffles, macarons, and Belgium chocolate. My skinny latte was very well extracted without a bitterness but with intensity. I found my skinny milk quite sweet and wondered if I was long life(but surely not). KD ordered an almond milk latte which she really enjoyed. they have a credit card surcharge which is a downer.
