For Chinese especially, when I discover a particular regions cuisine and I like it , I go on the hunt for it whenever I can until I become obsessed with something else. We came in here just because I was craving Shan Xi food however it was very different from all the other restaurants I have tried in Melbourne. This restaurant focuses more on lamb and the hotpots, we decided to go with the lamb noodle soup which we found very peppery and the mince pork soup which had great flavour and very nice chewy home made noodles. We also got 4 skewers which were nicely seasoned with cumin. I do like the other Shan Xi restaurant in Boxhill better , but will definitely come back to try the other lamb dishes
