Stopped by while I was in area and thought why not get a spicy soup! I’ve checked this place out many times without committing to trying it.. so finally I did. I ordered the spicy beef bowl with added pork intestines extra hot please! It came out looking as hot as lava surprisingly, it wasn’t as spicy as it appeared (that- or maybe my chilli tolerance is getting way out of hand ). The toppings were generous, everything was cooked well. It was cheap and filling, my only criticism being that the broth could be more flavoursome. Tasted a little bland like they need to add more bones to create a deeper foundation to the soup. None the less, I would definitely come back if i was in the area and craving szechuan style soup.
I recommend you try the fried noodles for a snack. They are anything but fried noodles, but more strips of bread (biang) nicely seasoned and grilled. The seasoning has some cumin in it, so it’s more a northern style dish. Really moorish. As for the soups, they are spicy, so be prepared.
