Really disappointing. Took 10 minutes for coffee and 40 minutes for a milkshake. When we addressed this with staff they didn’t really care. Won’t be returning especially with so many other great cafes around.
The only saving grace on this occasion was great coffee (a cyclist needs good coffee). I’ve eaten here a number of times over the years, and whilst I love the ambience, the one consistent thorn in the side seems to be food quality. Today I ate something called the hungry runner, $17, consisting of plain supermarket toast, a few hacked slices of cold tomato, cold poached eggs and puréed very salty avocado (not smashed). Unfortunately I could easily make better food in my own kitchen and I’m no chef! Needs to consider uplifting the quality of ingredients and serving food hot.

Great atmosphere. Love the outdoor area and the inside lounge. Eclectic and comfortable. Staff very pleasant. We had a very leisurely lunch for and hour or so while reading the papers. Good food and coffee.
I’m not sure what happened when iliyontheroad had coffee, my experience has been persistently good. The people are friendly and it’s a real bike rider’s hub for Bright and the district.
