Great grilled fish, potatoes are too good and even the salads are pretty great! The price is a little steep so I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for bulk food for a big group. But as a treat its definitely the best in bright
We got the 2person pack that had two pieces of fish, prawns, scallops, potato cake and calamari rings (there were four of them). Keeping in mind its a small town away from the ocean, the food was higher than expected. Calamari rings and prawns were probably my favourite and with a heap of thick chips I doubt anyone would still be hungry afterwards.
Great fish and chips sitting down by the Ovens River. Love their chips. Feels like walking around with a cake before sitting down. You also get nice dippings sauces like sweet chili sauce and aioli.
We always come to Bright during the Christmas public holiday long weekend, and make sure we stop by here for takeaway dinner. Salads are good not your ordinary bland salads. Came here once again on 26/12 hubby got tempura fish and chips pack. I got the Calamari and chips pack. Both were great. Big hand cut chips not greasy at all. I am very picky with my calamari, too many times back in Melbourne do I find myself chewing on a piece of Calamari from our local fish and chips places. Not the case here! This place is such a hidden gem in Bright. Only wish they were closer to home.
