I was hesitant to eat here considering so many other options and cafe nearby, but man I was really surprised with their amazing lamb kebab. the lady on the front was helpful in nature and very polite. would come here again .
The most important part of the kebab which is the lamb was not great. Instead of real charcoal lamb it heavily processed. This place would be heaps better if the lamb was better quality.
This placed has changed owners and the food is terrible! We ordered 2 combo meals and they were very disappointing! Two revolting dips and no bread. The salad had tasteless shredded cheese with jalapeos, raw onion and weird tasting lettuce. We will never return this place again!
May 2016 : Have went there twice, tried the mix combo, chicken kebab and chicken combo. Also tried their Baklava which was pretty good for Melbourne standards. One of my pet hates is the shitty salad that you get at kebab places but the salad here is really fresh and that always a plus. The only downside might be the quantity of meat in the chicken combo which was a bit less.
July 2017 : Since the change in ownership the overall quality of the food has deteriorated. The Salads are not fresh any more, the meat is not juicy and fresh. Have been there twice but have been disappointed with the food provided.
The kebabs are amazing!!! Taste great and great deals for a good price!! Service is great and you will walk out full and satisfied!! Go here weekly as these kebabs are one of the best!! Suggest you try them!!
The usual somewhat tasty kebab offerings. Wasn’t as wowed or as impressed as other users on here. Good place to go to get a decent meal quickly and on the cheap.
This unassuming shop in a unassuming section of Centre Rd houses a souva that is pretty damn good. I’ve only tried the lamb and the chicken of the gyros but both were well up to scratch and with some added tabouli and chilli sauce its the perfect quick weekend lunch. A generous souva just like you’d expect. Who needs a 30 minute wait at Oasis (or a ridiculously small and expense Jimmy Grants souva) when this little oasis is just waiting for you to visit. Recommended.
