Great service, great food with affordable price. I was here for a nice dinner with my family. The owner of the place is friendly and willing to cater to our needs. We have more than enough food for four persons and the price is ridiculously affordable. The tofu is slightly salty for my personal taste. Otherwise, it would be perfect. Hopefully the shop would stay here long enough. Thumbs up!
Dropped into JHR on a Sunday. Ordered the nasi goreng and hot plate noodles. The rice was done well – not too greasy. As my back was facing the kitchen i was welcomed by the sound of something sizzling approaching my table. That was my noodles – nicely done, piping hot with the vegetables and shrimp cooked just right without being overcooked. Generous portions. Will be back to try other dishes given the friendly and prompt service.

Jhr is a breath of fresh air when it comes to Malaysian food in the south east. Amazing laksa, and char kwai Teow , Nasi goreng . My partner and I visited here the other day and were finally happy to find somewhere that served decent Asian food in the south east. Relaxed and casual.
This is a new Malaysian eatery located along the quieter strip of Centre Rd, Bentleigh, near Aldi. Still new so not very well known but food is pretty good. We tried the Hainanese Chicken Rice, Curry Laksa & Nasi Lemak Rendang Beef. The beef was so tender & well cooked, just melts in your mouth. Overall enjoyable.
