My parter and I had the pleasure of being invited to Two Kings today, what an experience and a great cafe this is!

Jochem and his team welcomed us warmly, their attentive and friendly service was appreciated – thank you 🙂

The cafe is modern with a vintage look, very clean and the menu is fabulous. I was torn on what to order… soooo many great options.

Our coffees were great, smooth and full bodied, as they should be. I love that the coffee beans and produce in general is locally sourced, there is a lot of love in this cafe which you can feel and see. My Kings Benedict, wow!! Loved it, I’ve never had bubble and squeak before so this was a delight to my tastebuds. Pulled pork – oh my gosh… I am not a fan of pork but this was incredible. My partner ordered the gnocchi which was well presented and flavoursome. There was no sauce in the ragu as this dish is inspired from Northern Italy, enjoyable to eat nevertheless. The Dragons Blood juice was excellent and comes with a great backstory, you should come in yourself and ask Jochem, very funny indeed!

All in all, a great cafe and a lovely host. I wish Two Kings all the very best as I can see the efforts and love invested in this little gem. Thanks to all, we had such a great brunch.

Come and dine at Two Kings Cafe and you will be treated like a king. The hospitality is genuinely friendly, attentive and down-to-earth, and the amazing food is indeed fit for a king.

My partner and I shared the Kings Eggs, Smashed Avo and Crispy Bubble & Squeak, and Nutella French Toast. All 3 dishes were flawless.

The Kings Eggs consisted of soft and fluffy scrambled eggs, deliciously piquant homemade chilli jam, and perfectly grilled ciabatta. Moving on to the Smashed Avo, the capers and pickled onions added a wonderful depth of flavour to the smashed avo, and both the homemade bubble & squeak and hash brown were excellent in taste and texture. Lastly, my favourite – the indulgent Nutella French Toast. The brioche was thick, buttery, fluffy, and not to sweet. The richness of the Nutella, the tang from the strawberries, the milky white chocolate, and the hint of spices from the speculaas crumbs all contributed to a flavour bomb in my mouth.

It wasn’t just the food that blew us away, but also the drinks. Both cups of skinny latte were smooth and easy to drink, and the turmeric latte was aromatic and earthy. The Warrior Smoothie was incredibly thick and creamy, and you’ll definitely need a spoon to slurp up all that healthy and yummy goodness.

Two Kings Cafe is without a doubt the epitome of a local gem. If only Two Kings was situated nearer to me! Guess I need to come to Bentleigh more often. Thank you to Two Kings Cafe for the invite!

Today my partner and I had brunch at this cafe. The owner and the staff at this cafe are really friendly and welcoming. I like the fact that the ingredients are all home made and locally sourced w plenty of vegan and gluten free options.

I started w a juice called Dragons Blood. It had beetroot, ginger and orange (I think) and it was sooo delicious. A strong latte was a double shot and tasty too.

Food wise we shared 4 dishes as we were really hungry. A Kings breakfast was bubble and squeak and pulled pork w eggs benny! Omg this was amazing, everything worked so well.

Pork belly burger on a brioche bun. The pork belly was so moist and it tasted like it was slow cooked, this was incredible.

We tried a vegan smoothie bowl, and I wouldnt generally order this but Im so glad we did as it was so refreshing and tasty.

The first dish I tried was French toast w lemon curd and the lemon curd was home and that cut through he sweetness of the French toast. The strawberries just balanced everything so well. This is one for the sweet tooth! Yummo

Being close the Bentleigh train station its easy to find this place. And Id suggest that this is a must visit if you like amazing cafe food!

An extraordinary scope of crude cakes and tidbits, which were flavorful. Espresso is pleasant, not very solid. Loosened up air and staff were well disposed and supportive.
