Busy place with a lot of locals coming in for take away. Great food home-made quality of food, my highlight will be lasagna, quiche and sausage rolls. Coffee is not the best, but definitely one of the little cafe that I have a craving to eat once in a while.
It truly is a remarkably busy little place, but then I wouldn’t really recommend the iced coffee I had so I’m not at all convinced as to why.
Went in around 8am to get my morning coffee, it wasnt very busy. I ordered my coffee at the front and the waitress was so rude and unwelcoming, not impressed at all. Coffee was loverly wish I could say the same about the staff.
Really nice interior and felt really warm and cosy, however the staff didn’t seem too friendly or inviting. I ordered the porridge and i bet $1000 that they used an Uncle Toby’s 90 second quick sachet which they put in the microwave. That’s what it tasted like. EXTREMELY disappointed, especially because i was hoping it would be better than the one i cook at home on the stove. Wouldn’t recommend, however you’d be better off with eggs or muesli.
We weren’t sure if we stepped into another Bossy Boots? The place looks diff from the pics, seems they’ve refurbished. At 9am, the cafe was empty & they didn’t look ready for business. Service was cold & we felt uninvited. We were ‘encouraged’ to takeaway but they’ve got seating so surely we can dine in. No menu, just some selections from the display chiller. We didn’t look pleased & was told more food will come around 11am….seriously? We looked across the road & wished we are somewhere else…. Coffee was ok, the olive & pumpkin quiche was nice but definitely lots of room for improvement Bossy Boots!
Terrible food and poor service. Nothing on the menu was available so I had to go with the salad selection. Salads were too oily and pretty boring and for $18 way overpriced!
