Its a 3.8 on the old scale. Had a toasted focaccia with smashed avo, pesto and two poached eggs. It was delicious. The coffee was very nice. We shared French vanilla slice which was really yummy too. Nice place. They know what theyre doing here.
Disgusted with our service. Went there on a monday and the waitresses all looked half asleep. The foccacia my boyfriend ordered had a dead fly and a crawling one. And the fish i ordered costed 32 bucks and was a tiny slice that took 40 minutes to come out. Ive been going here since i was a kid but recently the service has been so bad. Not to mention the manager didnt even know the price of the orders and had to ask us for the menu to doublecheck. On top of this our coffee was cold when it came out. So sad because this has been my childhood go to and had many memories here with my family. No wonder why theres been no one there recently, up your game and fix your service. Was almost going to cancel the service, but thought to give them a chance.. but there is no chance im coming back.
good at what it does. nice food with big servings. staff were quick and attentive. popular because of the value i think. not a fancy place but great selction of food do everyone can find something!
Although situated in a nice area, service was slow and clearly did not care about its customers. We had to seat ourselves after waiting a while.
Food was also disappointing. Pizza was smaller than bakers delight’s pizzas and base was doughy and plain, not to mention overpriced. Gnocchi was a little better but the pasta was hard to stomach after a few bites.
Worst of all, when paying we politely commented on the size of the pizzas yet we were told they ‘put more on the pizza’ to make up for the size. Whilst this was not true, they clearly have had complaints before about the size of the pizzas yet have continued to make excuses.
Would not revisit for the rude service and overpriced food.
When the ordered coffee arrived, waiter tripped and spilled coffee over whole table including phones and iPad. Waiter apologised but we were left to clean it up ourselves.
I understand that accidents happen, but the owner/manager should have come over to apologise or even acknowledge their mistake. Nothing… just that we did not have to pay for the coffee!… thanks!!!
The best thing about the Dendy Delis is that its in walking distance to the Pantry. So you can get up and go there when you realize how disgusting the service is :). Never again
Really bad customer service from the old guy, very rude – wont be back….. ordered wedges takeaway he looks angry about it then 15 minutes later got them and went back to work to eat them and no sweet chilli – place is a shambles
