Indii has a lovely outdoor area for pets where we usually take our little one. Food is authentic and flavours are beautiful. Music in the background and service adds that extra star to the overall experience. Highly recommend this gem to anyone who loves Indian food.
This was recommended to us by a friend who can’t eat spicy food, so we were really skeptical ordering. We were happy to be pleasantly surprised. We order the chicken Madras and lamb vindaloo which were both delicious. The sauce was thick and very flavoursome. Definitely will order again.
We visited the restaurant last time for the first time.
Pleasantly surprised by the modern decor and censor entry door. It also had an outdoor area for beautiful summer nights. There was a stunning sunset last night.
The waitress tended to us straightaway and te food came our relatively quick. I ordered mild vegetarian curries, the eggplant and the palak paneer( soft cheese in spinach sauce) and plain naans.
The food was delicious! Mild was mild indeed as compared to many hit n miss in other restaurants. We loved the food. So we ventured desserts which very good too.the mango kulfi was beautiful.
We ate away as soft Indian music played and we were well looked after. As a bonus we used our entertainment book voucher.
We will be back!
Thank you.
The food is fantastic. Ive been several times and every dish Ive had has been delicious. My favourite dishes are the dal makhani and mushroom matar. The staff provide great service and are so polite and friendly. Its really a pleasure to visit Indii.
One of the best indian restaurants in town, great food, fantastic service, no corkage, reasonable prices, good ambience, been there many times, and I will always go back.
Some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten! Remarkably cheap for the quality of food and extremely friendly staff! What’s not to love about Indii! I will definitely be going back regularly.
Indii of Brighton – Bay Street, Brighton, cuisine – Indian. Hallelujah!! finally discovered another new cheap eats Indian restaurant in the south eastern suburbs. Well ok it’s not that new, but this was our first time here and we were happy. Chilli garlic naan – bring it on, crisped to perfection. Curries were delightful and flavorful. About 8-10 vegetarian curry options so what else do you need. We had the malai kofta (vegetarian dumplings in a creamy gravy) and paneer, both of them were equally delicious. They also have a tasting plate option – a smaller serve of the curries at $6.50 each if you want more variety – what an idea, why has no one else done this yet?? A great dining experience on a warm day after the beach. Sure we have eaten lots of Indian food (some better or as good) but this place definitely holds its ground. #indiiofbrighton #rating4 #melbournevegetarian #melbournefoodie #vegbourne #gottalovemelbourne #summerdays #suddencoldfront #indianfood #brighton #indiiofbrighton #instablogger #foodblogger #vegetarianrocks
