This is a very lovely place and spot with lovely friendly staff, but that is where the good things end. I had the baked eggs, and were one of the worst I have had in Melbourne, totally hard and the bland sauce didn’t help much. The accompanying pieces of toasted bread looked like reheated, impossible to masticate, so hard they were. Coffee was OK. Totally overpriced for the quality of food served.
I have to say this cafe is one of my favourite, that I have been to! I love the atmosphere, its soo cosy and warm. I think the menu is great and the food tasted pretty good. My Mum who is usually a picky eater loved the dishes, which to me says a lot! I think the interior design stunning!!! I cant wait to come back for more.
