Went here for the Christmas buffet lunch . The food was disgraceful. In a nutshell, potatoes in the potato salad were raw, roast veggies were undercooked, Caesar salad was soggy, roast pork was just bacon cut up. There were no chocolate profiteroles as advertised on the menu. Even The bread rolls on the table were even stale .
This used to be a wonderful place to eat and Ive been coming here with my family for over 15 years. Unfortunately in recent times things have changed for the worse. We dined here last night and the service was non existent. We waited for 20 minutes for someone to even take our order! Not for lack of trying to get a waiters attention.Then we waited another 20 minutes with no drinks. I had to go and ask the bar staff (assuming theyd forgotten). The food was quite nice. They seemed understaffed but the restaurant did not seem as busy as usual. Unfortunate, as the food is actually quite decent.
For the past 10 years my 84 year old parents and their walking group have happily visited Milano’s to buy coffee and drinks on Thursday mornings. Last week the new manager told them not to come back as its a waste of his staffs time to serve them as they don’t even play the pokies. Many of the group frequented Milano’s at other times with family and friends for meals and to pay the machines, my family has had Christmas lunch at Milano’s but none of us will ever return.
Ticks all boxes .Very generous portions .Very good quality food .Prices very affordable especially for seniors .Not cramped for space .The booths are comfortable and private .Great views of Port Phillip bay .Cannot understand the current lowly 2.7 rating .Service is always very friendly and efficient!
The worst meal I have ever had. Honestly disgusting. Crunchy mash potatoes, cold chips and the pie felt like it was brought from the Coles freezer and heated. Save your time and money and go somewhere else
Came here for the first time since Christmas and was so surprised. The staff were super helpful and friendly, the menu has been updated and the food is really good. I had the roast lamb and it was so fresh and tasty and my friend had the calimari and loved it.
Poorest quality of Food, lack of staff, lack of atmosphere . My daughter had the hamburger that she could have got better at McDonalds.
I had Flounder which was acceptable.
