Lizzies first impression: I first came here for a hot drink and the hot choc was amazing – I knew I had to come back for what its actually known for – its pizzas and pasta!
Lizzie enjoyed: 400 Gradi did not disappoint at all – the pasta was al dente and had all the right flavours in a mushroom pasta. The pizza base was also done well – I loved that it had a bit of dough to it and not too thin and crusty.
Lizzie did not enjoy: the portion size looked a little smaller but I was left content after demolishing the dish!
Lizzie rates overall: this place is relatively close to the city so I would almost recommending coming out of the city a little just for this!
After seeing they won the best pizza in the world award in 2014 we decided to give this place a try.
Nice ambiance, very busy place and very friendly staff. But the pizza was not that great.
It was okay and not worth the hype and money.
Did try an Italian drink which wasa bit like coke but better.
Pizza lives up to its hype, perfectly cooked! Came out so soon after ordering and our table server was a gem! Its a 5 out of 5 for what it is, however I prefer my prosciutto pizzas with the addition of buffalo mozzarella and/or some shaved Parmesan! Yum
Literally dropped into 400 Gradi Brunswick for a takeaway Margherita pizza as we were driving back to our Airbnb. Loved every mouthful (that base) and will absolutely be dining in next time we are in Melbourne. While we were waiting for our pizza the staff seemed fantastic and of course the restaurant smelled amazing.
Id been wanting to try this place for ages and a weekend away to Melbourne was just the perfect opportunity. Considering we had to get some take away pizzas from here due to younguns at home, the pizzas we had ordered from here were just simply delicious!!!! Couldnt fault them one bit. Tasty, simple and the pizza base was perfection! I would definitely go back and next time, dine in!
Visited last night. Has the linguine pescatore . Seafood was over cooked and wasnt fresh and linguine undercooked. Flavours went well together. Pick up your game 400 gradi we expect more at the price point and from your brand
4.5
One of my favourite places to dine, and always a recommendation I give out when people ask me for good Italian. I love the pizza here but more so the pasta, it is cooked just right and the flavours are sensational . Love this place !
