I just found a hidden gem today. A gelato place near my house!
I love their gelato. I ordered a scoop chocolate flavour in a cone. It costs me only 4.9 aud! OMG. The gelato was very creamy and not too sweet. The chocolate tastes so strong, I really like it.
My friend ordered Teh Tarik flavour and it was nice too. It reminds me of Thai tea flavour. Very unique yet so tasty.
The place itself isn’t big. Only 2 tables and a long chair. I will surely comeback to taste other flavours!
The Cendol flavour was amazing. It came with real Cendol bits. The strength of this place is it does great Asian flavour gelato. Lovely texture. The flavours change. Tolak angin – worth a try because its unique
Durian – decent but could be stronger
Tek Tarik – good
Credit for forever changing flavours that are rare to find. Some are hits, others, miss. Overall, the flavours are delicate and texture is smooth. Worth a go if local only.
Jeez adding pics puts to shame the actual experience. Their products are not the most aesthetic and Instagram worthy, in fact their scoops aren’t really scoops but rather these large spoons. Which is a plus cos you don’t really get scoops but rather these huge blobs of gelato.
Anyway bagged home a half-half litre of coconut sorbet with jackfruit pieces and durian gelato.
Bruh , the durian gelato doesn’t have that edge to it. Very mellow, the bat-gf actually enjoys (despite being a durian un-enjoyer). Coconut sorbet was great too.
Also got the ube and Yuzu sorbet to go but the real stars of the show was durian and coconut sorbet. They had Yakult, teh Tarik and other ASEAN flavours. Would come grab a bite here again for sure, especially just to check the specials.
4.5 is my verdict, it ain’t Messina but it’s a good alternative.
Beautiful freshly churned gelato. Had my favourite pistachio which is always a good test of a great gelato and it was perfect. Also had the dragon fruit and coconut which gave me ice cream envy!
