Benjy’s is a dream come true. Like a kid’s party for adults. You can walk in alone and in 15 min you’re best friends with the staff, eating fantastic food and cheering the karaoke stars.
Benjys is fantastic! Food is delicious and the vibe is great. Tim and Jazz are so lovely and welcoming. They do delicious espresso martinis and have a good selection of drinks to choose from. Fantastic smoking area out back which you dont get much anymore and great place for late night karaoke! If youre lucky, you might get to meet the cutest resident doggo Donna!
To put it simple, if you want a great night, excellent service and a super tasty feed, then head over to Benjis. The Black Bean Burger is incredible and i aint even vegetarian. My partner and his friends loved it too! The eggplant parma is a serious winner and the Haloumi Salad won over my friend.
Benjys is a newly open karaoke bar that also sells vegan and vegetarian bar food.
I was impressed with their set up for karaoke. Would be nice if they could get an extra microphone at some stage so singing in groups would be easier. I love that they have cute and tacky hats and accessories that people can wear while singing karaoke. Lots of songs are available! We requested lots of different songs and each one was available on their karaoke system. The staff also do a good job of encouraging others to participate in karaoke – two of my friends were able to try karaoke for the first time that night! The staff are very friendly and help create the atmosphere of the venue.
Their Thursdays happy hour is good value as well. $6 shots, wines and beers are great!
I ordered the not a dog Hot Dog and loved it. Unlike Evies Disco Diner the mock meat Hot Dog was enjoyable and tasted similar to the real thing.
I also like that both staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and bar drinks! Very helpful.
Will definitely return with some of my friends some time for more karaoke!
