Ordered ubereats at 4:30am tandoori chicken pizza flavor was good but the crust came with a black outer ring. I want my pizza carcinogen free please
No it is not reheated pizza i did not burn it myself i was just too lazy to complain until now
For the price, their pizzas are really great! The dough was good, and their ingredients tasted really fresh and authentic. Usually for this price I can only get shredded ham on my pizza.
Best pizza place ATM! Ive never written a review but I strongly encourage everyone to try this place.Ive been lucky enough to order one time from these guys and Im absolutely addicted! The pizza dough is delicious and I love the fact that even when I order a large pizza it doesnt even fit properly in the box but they dont make it smaller. I like that it always comes in odd shapes which just says it was handmade. it is a simple pizza with the right amount of toppings and the perfect balance. Well done guys!
I thought Curly Joes was bad, but oh was i wrong, this pizza is even worse. Probably the worst Pizza I’ve ever seen/tasted in my life. It’s 2018, who the hell still uses shredded ‘Ham’. Less than half the pizza had chesse on it which was very disappointing. I’ve had a few local friends recommend this place as its close by all of us. NEVER again will i order a pizza from Carmelos again, straight to the bin.
The pietro lamb pizza had had me coming back every week. Amazing flavour and quality.. you can tell nothing it processed. The lamb is cooked fresh to order and their basil comes straight off a tree. The new management has done a great job of bringing Carmelo’s back to its former glory. Great work guys
Really great, old school pizza place. The staff were lovely. The food was delicious comfort style. My steak with peppercorn sauce was just what I wanted. That sauce – creamy, peppery and flavoursome. We also had a garlic based pizza with a fresh tomato and red onion bruschetta type topping. It was popping with flavour and a had an excellent dough base, crispy, not too thick and cooked just right. And the total price was really cheap. Excellent value, easy, family dining.
Got 2 takeaway pizzas on Friday evening. No matter what pizza, they tend to all taste the same when it’s covered in that stringy processed shredded ham. It was a quick cheap dinner when you can’t be bothered thinking. Then I found a hair. I squawked at my husband, who said it was probably our dogs hair and besides, the guys at the shop were all bald. But no, it was human, and it had attached itself to some melted cheese. Forensically speaking, it must have been baked into the cheese when it was made.
