I’ve liked Carmelo’s the last 5 yrs I’ve lived in Northcote, but I had big issues with a delivery guy who refused to come past the apartment complex entrance and was full of shit. He’s gone thank god and I’ve started reordering last year or so, great pizza, clearly woodfired and very good base, don’t normally order salmon pizza as it’s hard to do properly but damned good here

The pizzas offered at $19.90 for TWO traditional pizzas which are not only totally fresh and totally mouthwatering.
Vegetarian w/ no cheese:
I usually order no cheese and I feel so much lighter (and can eat more haha), the base was so light and crispy, the perfect thickness. The vegetables were fresh and the sauce and garlic touch? It married the flavours together.
Patata:
The potatoes were cooked well, the cheese was ooey gooey, the sauce, the garlic; the flavours were chosen and balanced well.
We sound like were being sponsored by this place but honestly, its really worth the try because lets be honest, two large pizzas at $20? Thats value especially if youre getting a tasty meal.
