Had the honeycomb and popcorn waffles which were absolutely delicious. The caramel was the best part and the waffles were fluffy in the centre but a bit heavy. Could have used more caramel to cut through it. Coffee was only average and quite bitter but wasn’t horrible. Would come back for the food.
Hands down the best quiche I’ve ever had from a café. It’s amazingly good. The coffee is terrible though – ordered 2 large takeaway coffees and they were super weak. On the day I had the best quiche I was served by a young woman who was obviously new and was absolutely lovely and very friendly. The woman helping her take my order and who made the coffees, not so much. The second woman really needs to work on her friendliness because from my once-off experience I decided not to return because her unfriendly, cranky demeanour was unprofessional and unacceptable. The best quiche isn’t worth wasting my money there.
The food here is certainly instagram worthy. I had the gluten free pancakes with nutella and strawberries. The portion size for the price initially seems a little small but the dish is so rich with the nutella that you wouldn’t want it to be larger. Fantastic gluten free pancakes – really fluffy and taste great! Plus you really can’t ever go wrong with a combo like nutella and strawberries. The place lacks any great atmosphere and the space is pretty plain. Its counter service only which is pretty disappointing when you’re paying $20 for breakfast and at a fair bit steeper price than many of the other cafes in the area who all manage to provide table service. Waitress behind the counter was friendly enough.
