What a great surprise!. Had pizzas from here for first time last night and what a great surprise! Pizza base was perfect, toppings fresh and plenty of it. Arrived hot which is rare for delivery. I had a bit of a problem trying to order online. Instead of curly joes website I ended up on delivery hero instead. I called to see why the discount from their flyer didn’t come up but they politely explained you have to be careful on Google to choose the right link. Anyways, to make up they offered me a freebie in my order so I cheekily asked for a tartufo and they agreed 🙂 I don’t understand the bad reviews I read before ordering. This is my type of pizza! Real pizza and not another pretentious wood fired gourmet rubbish that equals tiny, no toppings, and tasteless that prevails in Fitzroy! Yay curly joes!!
As good as the restaurant. Years ago I remember eating at Curly Joe’s on Sydney Road and was so good I vowed to go back. I may have gone back once or twice. Fifteen years on and I now live in the area and discovered the drive through express. Could it be as good as the old restaurant? I wasn’t expecting too much, though must say I was pretty impressed. The pizza was already ready when we arrived about 10-15 minutes after we ordered. By drive through it is more like a bottle shop than a McDonald’s, as you can park right outside the door but you have to go in yourself. Nice dough, crispy around the edges and not too thick. The lamb topping we ordered was tasty and just right. Will definitely go back again when the need arises.
FEELING CHEATED. We ordered a large gluten free pizza with garlic bread-seems straightforward……..delivery man arrived 1xhr later with a small pizza-he told me he would be back with the correct order……an hour later not a word…. so I called them and was told as they make the gluten free pizza dough themselves the size we received was considered large-to them……..p. s. it was revolting
Drive Thru. Picked up a couple of pizza’s – crunchy base and fresh toppings – will be back for more
Drive Thru Coffee. I couldn’t agree more with Celia_Milton’s comment.
I drive thru every morning on my way to work.
They’re happy, smiling and manage to crack a joke!
What surprises me more, is they have my coffee ready for me too.
Recommend highly for all you coffee drinkers on your way to work.

The food here is ok but EVERY SINGLE TIME I order over the phone my order is wrong and they make me feel like it’s my fault. Even when I triple check the order, when I go to pick it up it’s wrong. I’m so over it and I won’t be getting my take out from here anymore.
Drive Through Cafe- Great service. No matter how cold the morning is or how early it is the staff in this little coffee island on Curly Joe’s drive through are always smiling and joking. Coffees have always been delivered to me before my tram arrives; even if I’ve only allowed for a few minutes, and for coffee served that fast its actually pretty good. Its what you want/need, served in a very convenient way. You’ve surprised me, Curly Joe.
