Was really nice food, tasty, good prices, nice staff, atmosphere was lovely, couldn’t get over the amazing art work , felt lik I was sitting in Italy. Keep up the good food and service.
Food was mediocre at best. We ordered the garden salad and we had to dress it ourselves. The pizzas were meh. The dough was quite thick and became soggy after a while. The mussels were quite nice but the beards were not removed which made it off putting. The pastas were handmade but were lacking flavour. I prolly won’t be rushing to return.
Theres good food , theres good service and then theres Da Peppe !
We booked a table of three and decided to give this place a chance but unfortunately we were sadly disappointed. This place is lacking everything from the terrible service to the bland food and not to mention the fake brick walls.
I ordered the chicken cotoletta and a rocket and parmesan salad to go with it, the owner waiter gave me a look like hed didnt know what parmesan cheese was and told me that the cotoletta only comes with chips, a generic mesclun salad and or veggies. I said ok just give me a salad. What I got was a literally a handful of unwashed mesco salad in a bowl and then given the bottles of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt then told to dress the salad myself. Ha ha is this guy for real ?! I mean how hard can it be to make a simple salad with rocket and Parmesan and dressing. Nevertheless I got my chicken cotoletta and the only reason I ate it because I was hungry! It was unseasoned bland and deep fried making it almost inedible.
My mate had the seafood platter, this too was badly over cooked and unseasoned. The calamari was bland and not tender, the prawns still had the shells on and the piece of salmon had bones in it. He didnt finish it.
Theres no love in the food here and Italian food comes from the heart and Italian food is made with love; fresh pasta not packet crap lets not forget the parmesan.
I wont be back at Da Peppe and his antics nor will I recommend this Da Peppe food thats giving real Italian food a bad name. Theres a hell of a lot better options around town, dont bother with this place.
Live just up the road and thought wed try Da Peppe for family birthday. We absolutely loved it. Great feel, great food and great service. Will definitely go again!
Fantastic meal, fresh pasta made in the restaurant sooo delish! Pizza was amazing and so were the prawns! Fantastic friendly service can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu! =)
Amazing!!! If I could give it more stars I would. Quality of food 20/10. Very reasonably priced and the staff are super friendly. I had the seafood risotto polished it so quickly it was that good! Love this place and will continue to go. Thank you Da Peppe 🙂
Excellent meal enjoyed on Mothers Day. Very friendly service headed by the owner Giovanni, fresh pasta with good portion sizes. Wide range of dishes to choose from which should keep everyone happy. My family has an Italian background so we are used to high quality Italian food. We were not disappointed by the range and quality of our chosen meals.
