The restaurant is nice and clean. Staff were polite and service was fast. However, the food was average and many were below average. I ordered many dishes to try and most dishes were below average except sashimi was fresh, but the sashimi was very small portion compared to the price of food. The sashimi plate (chef selection) costed $55 AUD but the portion was very small and it was not worthy. Beef Tataki and salmon tartare were too sour! The chef should try it before serve! The pork belly bun need to have some vegetable inside and the pork was too oily and fatty! I could taste only oil! And I couldnt finish the bun because it was too oily. So I dont recommend this dish for people who dont like oily food! Tuna taco tasted very weird and sour! Its not good to try!

Really enjoyed Kumo. Casual dinning with broad menu that is reasonably priced. Spicy tuna taco and king fish sashimi were stand out dishes. Sweat corn teriyaki chicken was nice too. Maybe a little salt heavy towards the end but that our fault for the ordering, could have matched our dishes better.

Enjoyable feed with quality food in an awesome high ceiling venue. The service was attentive and the protein was handled with care. Authentic and worthy of a visit.

Beautiful building and ambience. Excellent sake selection. However over seasoned dishes, beef tataki is too salty; Japanese fried chicken was a bit on the drier side. Good for casual dining.
