terrible service and average bagels. We waited 45 minutes for a few takeaway bagels and coffees. Staff forgot one of our bagels and one of our coffees-they has to check what we ordered multiple times. By the time everything came out our takeaway coffee was stone cold so we asked for another. The waitress then blamed us for placing a coffee order at the same time as the food because they were unable to organize the order together. for a place that specializes in only two things (coffee and bagels) they dont do either particularly well.

Very cute cafe tucked just off the top of Nicholson St. Bagels were delicious with some great combinations with the limited ingredients they keep on hand (due to the size of the venue).

Limited space so if you do intend on staying for a long time and chat, do be mindful of others that may want to sit and eat.

Love the coconut bacon! So good to see delicious vegan options- From bagels to doughnuts. So cute, and always delivers on quality and service! The selection and space are limited but the atmosphere and delicious food and coffee more than make up for it!

Dont let the mid rating fool you! This little cafe is awesome. Yes its small but who cares, its a great little set up. The food and coffee are amazing (the soy ice coffee and cashew bagel is a great combo!). Vegan options available too!

Tucked away on a busy street New Day Rising is a tiny tiny cafe. Because it is close I go sometimes but if it wasn’t walking distance I wouldn’t go out of my way to go.
The staff always seem inconvenienced when they are taking orders and never once have I got a have a nice day or a thankyou.
It is a very small shop so everything you say can be heard so you would think that manners would be used.
I only ever go to get a cream cheese bagel. They are nice however you will be waiting a good 20 minutes for this tiny addition to your life.

Grabbed a CLT to take away as I was in a rush. Super tasty, surprisingly the smoked coconut was actually a pretty good approximation of bacon.

Great food and coffee although poor customer service spoils the experience on most days. A ‘thank you’ or ‘have a nice day’ wouldn’t go amiss. The staff always seem inconvenienced when I come in to order a take away coffee.
